Fields of Mistria Patch v1.0.6 Fixes Crashes, Memory Leaks, and Visual Bugs
Source: Steam Community
Fields of Mistria has received its v1.0.6 update, bringing a host of bug fixes and stability improvements. This patch focuses on resolving issues introduced in the previous version, including a memory leak that could lead to crashes. Players who continue to experience memory or VRAM leaks are encouraged to report them with as much detail as possible.
Several community-reported issues have also been addressed. The game now returns to the main menu without showing a black screen, and OBS Game Capture and Window Capture work again. Note that in some capture modes, the in-game cursor may appear on stream but not for the streamer; disabling “Native Cursor” in the Graphics options can work around this. Other fixes include:
- Heart barks from small animals are visible again when picked up.
- Wedding photos no longer show the player house as the background.
- The baby renders correctly in the cradle, and donated Seal items display properly in the altar claws.
- Essence Stones now appear on Sprite Statues as intended.
- The Mill’s exterior ambient sound no longer plays before the Mill is repaired.
- Fullscreen and Borderless display modes have been swapped back to their correct behavior.
- Russian and Simplified Chinese text updates are now properly implemented.
- Fixed crashes caused by throwing a Clod Bomb, NPC pathfinding failures, and exiting the game.
Additionally, an unattainable food item that appeared in the Almanac has been removed. The team is still investigating issues with display capture in OBS and screen sharing on Discord. For the full list of changes and version history, visit the patch notes page.
